YOUR STRATEGIC DIVERSIFIED SMALL BUSINESS PARTNER

ZIN Technologies, Inc. is a minority owned small business located in Cleveland,
Ohio that provides advanced engineering and product development solutions for NASA, DoD and private industry. Founded in 1957, ZIN-Tech was awarded its first NASA design services contract in 1969. We became ISO-9001 registered in 2000 and have facility clearance from DoD. We have a staff of over 150 scientists, engineers, designers and certified technicians supporting various projects within its 12,000 sq. ft. of laboratories and clean rooms.

ZIN-Tech has substantial expertise in electrical/electronic systems and mechanical controls, power conversion, data acquisition and analysis, fluid system design, and optics / laser diagnostics.
Our company has successfully designed, built and tested experimental hardware (payloads) for over 95 missions for the NASA space program. Our involvement with NASA space experiments dates back to 1989. We have a solid background in complete systems engineering, which includes crew training, safety and hazard analysis and environmental testing.

We also have advanced capabilities within IT and software engineering for embedded control systems, real-time communications and digital imaging and analysis.

We presently design and build the only Space Acceleration Measurement System (SAMS) used by NASA for their shuttle and space station microgravity programs, as well as their other low gravity platforms. SAMS is based on an embedded controller with custom distributed digital triaxial sensor heads. ZIN-Tech manufactures integrated power controllers for the ion source material deposition market. Additionally, we are further developing our capabilities and capacity for standard, modified standard, and custom-built power conversion units for DoD / military applications.
