ZIN Technologies and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation have formed a jointly owned company entitled ZIN Medical, Inc. ZIN Medical will design, develop and commercialize various configurations of a wireless biomonitoring system called BioWATCH. The product BioWATCH has it’s genesis in a NASA SBIR to design and develop a biomedical wireless device for ambulatory telemetry of crew health aboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station (ISS). NASA required a single device that can measure multiple vital signs, is lightweight and compact, easy to use and capable of sending the biomedical data via RF signal to earth in real-time.
