GRC Awards ZIN Tech Contract to Develop ISS Facility

The Glenn Research Center has awarded ZIN Technologies, Inc. a contract of approximately $450k to begin development of an International Space Station facility to facilitate the study of granular flows by multiple university investigators. The facility is scheduled for completion in 2010 with a potential total contract value of up to $20M. The facility will provide a unique resource for investigators to gain fundamental understanding of fluid flows found in many industrial processes. ZIN's expertise, proven management and technical team, and manned spaceflight development infrastructure were key to this award.
ZIN Technologies' believes that this selection is a natural extension of their successful track record developing payloads for GRC that extends back to 1990. ZIN Tech has developed more than 95 successful payloads for NASA including many currently operating on the ISS.
