GRC Minority Contractor of the Year Award

Glenn Research Center has awarded ZIN Technologies, Inc. 2003 Minority Contractor of the Year Award. ZIN was cited for its outstanding work supporting GRC in manned spaceflight payload development. ZIN is currently operating the Space Acceleration Measurement System on-board the ISS and is developing ten+ new payloads for future launches.
ZIN has demonstrated extraordinary growth and maturity in technical capabilities and processes. ZIN’s demonstrated track record of developing complex payloads within tight schedule and budget constraints were cited. Additionally, ZIN was lauded for their cooperative and proactive approach to developing problem resolutions, mitigating external risks, and meeting delivery commitments.
ZIN’s activities supporting both the GRC Space and Aeronautics programs on the Microgravity Research, Development, and Operations Contract and the Glenn Engineering and Scientific Support Contract were factors.
