Description
Provide thermal analysis, thermal test support, and collaborate to improve designs of spaceflight experiments or spaceflight vehicle components. Will work with a multi-disciplinary team to support full life cycle product development.


Responsibilities:
• Develop finite element thermal models and perform thermal analysis
• Write test procedures, reports, and process plans
• Facilitate and conduct thermal cycle and TVAC tests
• Review specifications, analysis, designs, and related data to assess component design


Requirements
• U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 3-7 years of experience with thermal analysis preferably for NASA, DoD, or similar organizations
• Experience with FEMAP/TMG thermal analysis and model development
• Basic understanding of design drawings
• Strong verbal and written communications skills


Preferences
• Understanding of environmental testing (MIL, RTCA/FAA or NASA)
• Advanced degree in engineering, science, or related disciplines
• Experience in Thermal Desktop
• Experience in MATLAB
• Space Flight experience
